Tintomara
The name ‘Tintomara’, which features as both Ensemble and CD name refers to a composition of the same name by Folke Rabes: the dualistic figure from ‘Törnrosens bok’ by the Swedish author Jonas Love Almqvist reflects the male and female characters of both instruments. Thus inspired, the ensemble has developed manifold arrangements, solo pieces and duets into an unusual, contrasting and surprising programme.
